Ultrasonic Cavitation, Frequently Asked Question
What Is Ultrasonic Cavitation?
Ultrasonic Cavitation is a relatively new aesthetic treatment using cutting edge technology of ultrasound. Ultrasonic cavitation is a size-reduction treatment that uses ultrasound waves to burst fat cells, which may result in lost inches on the treated areas and slimmer figure.
Ultrasonic Cavitation is a 100% outpatient procedure. Ultrasonic cavitation causes an emulsification of fat, converting fat into a substance that can be eliminated through the lymphatic systems. So putting it in simple words; Ultrasonic cavitation is a simple procedure that relies on Ultrasound waves to flush fat from the body instead of intensive surgery.
It has been growing in popularity over the last few years because this procedure is less invasive than traditional Liposuction and can be easily done as an out-patient in 20-30 minutes without any down time.

How does ultrasonic cavitation work?
The procedure works on the principle of low frequency. Ultrasounds are elastic waves that are not audible to people (above 20,000Hz). During an ultrasonic cavitation procedure, noninvasive machines target specific body areas with Ultra sound waves and in some cases, light suction. It uses ultrasound, without any surgical operations needed, to efficiently transmit an energy signal through human skin disrupting adipose tissue. This process heats and vibrates the layers of fat deposits below the skin's surface. The heat and vibration eventually causes the fat cells to liquefy and release their contents into the lymphatic system.
Does ultrasonic cavitation work?
Yes, but results may vary! Depending on your individual health history and body type, you may slim down more or less dramatically or have longer- or shorter-lasting results than others.
How many treatments do I need? How often should I be treated to see results?
A single body part treatment lasts 20–30 minutes. 48-72 hours must pass between each session for the body to eliminate the fat. Generally most clients start to see a difference in 3 treatments.
Often time you'll see results after first session. However, between 8 and 12 sessions are needed for optimum results. The exact number of treatments will vary due to factors such as age, weight, and the area being treated.
Is this procedure invasive?
No.
Is there any downtime?
No.
How long does the result of ultrasonic cavitation last?
Ultrasonic cavitation does not destroy fat cells. You can achieve “volume reduction” of fatty tissues and “toning of the body.” This procedure uses cavitation technology (ultrasound) to attack fat deposits that have proven a daunting task to shed off despite the dieting and regular exercising. It just makes the fat cells release their contents, which means the cells are capable of storing fat again. The results are gradual over a number of weeks as your body clears the broken-down fatty tissues. The results can be long-lasting provided you follow a healthy diet and exercises program. However, it is very easy to deposit fat again into the tissues if one overeats, consumes too much alcohol, or doesn’t exercise. Ultimately the result may vary depending on the individual’s tissue structure, treatment area, age, metabolism, medication, and changes in hormones. Our constant recommendation is do exercise to tone your muscle and maintain your health.
Ultrasonic Cavitation Contraindications
The procedure is not recommended for individuals below the age of 18 years.
Pregnant women, as well as epileptic individuals, should refrain from undertaking this procedure.
Individuals with conditions such as blood pressure, diabetes and cancer should not use Ultra cavitation treatment.
Individuals having metallic implants in the treatment area should not participate in the process.
The standard interval between individual Ultra cavitation treatments are 72 hours to allow enough time for the body to recover.
